Aetas get ancestral land title in Subic Freeport
The Magbukun Ayta tribe of Sitio Kanawan secured approval for their ancestral domain claim over about 12,000 hectares. SIPAG president Betty Fielder said the group will assist the Magbukuns in a joint management agreement with the SBMA.

Ayta tribe gets title over ancestral land in Subic Freeport
After 14 years, the Magbukun Ayta tribe of Sitio Kanawan in Morong, Bataan, received NCIP approval for their Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title (CADT) over some 12,300 hectares. SIPAG will help formulate a joint management agreement with the SBMA.

Paraw boats will now sail in Subic Bay
Subic Sailing Club and Lighthouse Marina Resort Legacy Foundation are restoring Paraw boats in partnership with SIPAG. The program aims to provide livelihood for the Ayta community and Paraw operators affected by the Boracay closure, with proceeds supporting LMRLF and SIPAG projects.

SBMA, IP group ink accord for Ayta conservation area
The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority signed an agreement with SIPAG to implement an Indigenous Communities Conservation Area (ICCA) project for the Magbukun Ayta, including a cultural skills and livelihood training center at the Naval Magazine area.
